Why is the first clip pushed into 4:3?

There are a couple of good shots in the first video. The second one also has a lot of nice shots, but could improve with steadier footage.

Yeah strange, at YouTube the aspect is correct if you view in HD.
Does your NLE have a smooth cam? Anyways, if so it might be worth giving it a go. You won't be able to fix the jumpy camera action, but it might improve it some.

The first video has a nice warm color look it to. Nice job, didnt watch the 2nd video because I get the point. Nothing like Beer and Cigarettes heheh. Damn, Redrock makes some nice adapters.

THANKS BRO. You know the object of the Death Valley footage was to spot a town suitable for shooting... rather than get out and walk and talk it, we just threw the rig up in the back window, drove and covered as much territory as we could. And believe me, the darker it got, the faster we drove.... scary as sh*t up there.
By time we go back, we'll bring the rails, dolly, mini-jib and sticks so we can do you guys proud....
THANKS MAX. You nailed the "warmth" feel on the first test. I cranked up the channels with a warm card... but then regretted it a bit once I got in post. Though we got a way with it, it's the last time I balance to anything but 18% gray.
On the second we, definitely the other way. Frosty.
