Capturing problem - Premiere CS4

Maybe i'm blind, but i can't find similar problem. I'm trying to capture from HV30 via firewire with Premiere CS4 and I have the steering over the camera but capture preview window is blank, no image. Only while capturing it shows picture saying 'playing on video hardware'. After that captured footage is visible in premiere and looks ok. Is there some in-camera setting i need to turn on to have capture preview?
I tried also some wierd adobe Onlocation program and there capture preview works fine but steering via software is unavailable (it also captures my hdv to m2t files wich is slightly retarded). I'd like to stay within my CS4 workflow - any suggestions?

p.s. it's my second day with HV30 - instant love.
