Is there a (cheap) HoodLoupe 3.0 Alternative?

I'm looking for a way to make the HV's LCD screen into a veiwfinder of sorts and the only thing I can find is the hoodloupe 3.0, which costs $80USD (+ $30 for the strap).

I was wondering if anyone knows of any cheaper alternatives (DIY or store bought).

There is also this product from cavision which I think is the same thing...

Someone needs to come up with a DIY version.

... that said it's only $5, so it may be worth a try.

And that Cavision one is more expensive than the Hoodman one (cavision's is like $90...which is lame.)
