Well I might have you ALL beat: my two brothers and I all SPELL our last name differently due to geographical reasons.....subsequently it's also pronounced differently.

You win Mal. Or is it Mul?

Sheesh! I feel for you guys, you're making me glad I have an easy last name! The only problem I have is sometimes people think my last name is my first and my last name is Matthews. I live in an area that has a nice mix of people from Mexico, Germany, Checoslavakia, Poland, and of course the various States and some of the names are quite difficult. I do my best to get names right and will usually ask how to pronounce a name I can't figure out. But I don't know anyone who has changed their last name spelling or pronunciation because of it being too difficult for others!
PS. Nothing for sale, I'm only just starting to build my equipment.
haha, no worries.

That's funny. I figured whoever won that would be getting a bunch of PM's about selling it. You should go to the accessories page and start a thread called "My $15.00 spinning DOF adapter" and post stock Letus pics. That was the first thing I was going to do if I had won.
Just to rub it in. I like it.

You guys are too funny!
Haven't gotten any PMs or emails, I wouldn't sell it anyways even though at this point in time I could use the extra money (who couldn't?). Am I too new here to rub things in? I mean, not that I would do that, I might get myself a bad reputation real quick. I would rather work up to having a bad reputation.
But if you insist...I'm not really a filmmaker, not even an advanced videographer of any kind. I'm a photographer by training, bowling pro shop operator by day, and have often had delusions of living off of fine art photography and dabbling in nature and landscape videography. The day job is doing ok and I recently opened a photo gallery (woohoo!), though the living off it part is far far away (do'h!), and thanks to the pro shop I have been doing some bowling coaching which gave me the justification for buying a nice video camera. Otherwise I probably never would have bought the camera, never would have ended up at this site (which I actually found over a year ago when looking at the HV20), never would have made the donation to ISARA.org, and never would have won the most awesome 35mm adapter! Oh, and it actually cost me $45...I bought 3 tickets.
How's that?
:::running for cover:::
Well, when you're bored with it i'll take it off your hands for $50.

Last week Isara found a great used van and, because of the raffle, was able to get it!!
Thank you to HV20.com, MAL, our sponsors, and to everyone who participated in our charity raffle. We not only built two new classrooms and made important repairs to our learning center, but we got the van we desperately needed. We've already put it to good use!!!
Thanks again and please continue to make a difference by using our website for all your Google searches. http://www.isara.org

Thats really great news!
