Panasonic DMC-GH1, the next "HV-20"
It's a small DSLR that has movie mode with 1080p @ 24fs and 720p @ 60fps with full manual control and Optical Image Stabilization. The sensor is "3/4rds" which makes it a little smaller than "Full Ap" s35, but still about the same size as the sound academy frame. It is 18mm x 13.5mm vs. 21mm x 11mm for a 1.85 extraction from a standard sound app 35mm camera.
The lenses are interchangable and have a silent continuous autofocus feature and the camera even has face reccgnition aided auto focus. It has HDMI outputs as well. (the same Live capture trick we use with the HV20 might be possible with it?)
