    i was wondering if one could connect (electrically not just fix) a microphone there.

    We are planning to use the 20 as a second camera on HDV shoots, and therefore not hooked up to Sennheiser and mixer. It would be nice to get moderate quality sound out of an on-camera mic that does better than the Canon yet does not have cables dangling. Anybody found one?
    Too bad the wide angle lens interferes with the light. Is there some kind of advanced accessory shoe adaptor that could raise the light higher?
