Baby steps man, baby steps. Take a shot of whiskey, thump your chest and tell that bad block there is no way it's gonna get the better of you.

...Is the 16mm Bearing size big enough for the hv and letus mini? Could you even go down to the 10mm?
And the 100mm long shuttle is adequate? thanks guys.

Coming in January....
IndiSlider Mini Vs Igus Slider 24 (Formerly 'PortaDolly')
you say "PortaDolly" registered trademark, so with this in mind, you are selling this ? I did a search and cannot find it online for sale. perhaps you are still in design stage or manufacturing stage ? I only find boating equipment when I search for this product.
Any help appreciated.
how much weight can the indie slider mini take? Also you can buy the indie slider mini parts and track on ebay if you need longer length's of track.
I'm feeling frisky!
By the way, I came across this topic because of this one that was posted recently:

using a GlideTrack, then I started searching and now see many videos on youtube with DIY ( do it yourself ) made ones, using the same material that the original GlideTrack uses.
You gotta love Google
This is my solution. I'm not really that fond of the glidetrack thing. The glidetrack is a bit limited in some situations. My rail (I call it the Rebel Rail) can be mounted on anything, between tables, boxes, chairs and whatever you have handy (like light stands, tripods...anything that will make your rail level). One guy even used my system under water. And one of the great things is that you can lift the mini-dolly from the tracks and put it straight on a table for table top style close ups. All you have to do is to remove the guiding bottom wheels. That's done in 30 seconds. I've used the system for 75% of the shots of a feature film i directed a few years back. Had to build it because there was nothing available to do what I wanted to do and still be very light and able to move from one setup to the other without slowing down.
For the clip I mounted two HV30:s on a stereoscopic rig (I did design that too).

Portadolly is a copyrighted trade mark -belonging to me.
I abandoned Portadolly.com as a business and have offered all my R&D results to Zazacast (DVXuser) , as I do not have time to offer builds for sale personally.
What's coming in February (sorry for the delay) is a faceoff between the two products depicted. That's what's "Coming Soon"![]()
This one's Ghetto, but it works very well... Detailed Pics
