Capture issues with hv20

Hello,

I am using hdlink (cineform) to capture video with my hv20.

Sometimes when I capture a tape, the video has lots of distortion and blocky video in it. If I do the capture again the next day, the captured video is fine.

I am using a normal firewire cable. Could it be a bad cable?

Any other ideas?

Yes, try another cable, and make sure you run the latest version of your Cineform app.

It must be the cable.

Any good brands out there that are reliable?
