Default question about 25p - not smooth

    Hey everyone,
I receivied the HV20 just before i went for a trip for a month, so i didn't have the time to check this issue before now.
I'm using the european version (25i PAL) and this is why i have the option to shoot on 25p as well.
But when i choose this options, the movment is quite choppy, and for from being smooth. also, i noticed that when the progressive mode is ON, i shouldn't hold the camera myself (but to put it on something stable).
    I guess it's normal?
what can i do the ensure a smooth shooting in the Progressive mode?

    thank's guys...

You might want to check your shutter speed; for 25p I think the recommendation is to set it at 50 (=1/50 sec) for motion picture-like movement. If you set it too fast, you'll get "strobing".

    Also, avoid fast pans.

25p (or 24p) is not going to look as smooth as 50i (that's why people like it; looks less "video"), but it shouldn't really look choppy if you do it right.
