    Smile Movie Trailer Spoof

Each year since my daughter was born, I create a video for her birthday and use a movie trailer as inspiration. This is the first one I've made since purchasing my HV30. Here's the latest one inspired by Happy-Go-Lucky.

The other ones are standard def (BOOOO!) But, if you're interested in watching them head over to:

Cute kid, this is an awesome idea! She will really appreciate this later in life, for sure. Nice editing.

Noob question, but how do you go about making the text screen inserts (like the ones with the pink background and the flashy white text)?

Thanks so much! That one thing I love about the community here at hv20.com... everyone is so supportive!
I used a combination of Photoshop and After Effects to do the titles. Basically create the pink background in Photoshop and saved it out as a .jpg. Then started a new comp in After Effects and layed down the type on top of the background. Affter that it was as simple as animating a few keyframes. Voila! Hope that helps. Thanks again for your comments!

Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoyed it. The fella wearing the fly barong is my brother-in-law. That footage was taken at his wedding in Cebu, PI.

That's what I'm banking on. I hope she really appreciates these when she gets older. Thanks so much for your comment.
