Default when i feel down, i resort to slow pans and dollies.

whether it be about work cutting down my hours, being sick, sloppy edits, running out of grey goose, girl being out of town...

slow pans and dolly movements will always make me feel better.

a homemade skater dolly, contrary to the 3 pivoting wheels that everyone has been building, i went with the single rotating/2 fixed wheels like the skater junior by p&s ...

havent found any difference in the shots i can achieve, and it takes up a lot less space and is so much quicker to set up a shot.

thanks, even simple dollies contribute a lot, i originally just used a skateboard with a beanbag on it to position the camcorder, not the smoothest thing in the world but i got some decent shots:

it works in a pinch, and looks a lot better than nothing at all.
