There are a number of lavalier mic threads already going. Why not do a search?
To all Newbies: Have you read this FAQ before posting? Or watched this short video?

I did do a search before I POSTED THE QUESTION. I was looking from MORE RECENT AND VARING OPs. I could do without the sarc suggestions it comes off rude for a forum thats about helping others. IMO.
    Thanks for the link though.

a good cheap one is the audio technicha ATR35s. I use it to shoot promo liners for a television network and interviews and its great for the price (~$20)

I have 3 Giant Squid lavs. Pretty good for $25. (ignore the "Sale Ends Midnight Feb 1st" banner, they've been "on sale" for 4 years.)

Exactly where was I being rude or sarcastic? If you did do a search and found other relative threads, why didn't you post in one of them instead of starting a new one which will now be yet another thread returned in a search for the next guy? There's a reason we prefer members search first and when possible, post in an existing thread.

if you are looking for more RECENT AND VARING OPs you could maybe BUMP AN EXISTING THREAD instead of POSTING another ONE. I am assuming you mean VARYING OPINIONS, and not "VARING OPs". also your SHIFT KEY appears to be BROKEN. IMO.

Is this the place you were talking about? http://www.giant-squid-audio-lab.com/gs/gs-mono.html I couldn't get your link to open.

Is this GS Model the one people have been recommending here? Just double-checking.

    Thanks, Deborah
