HV20 + SGPro + Nikkor 28mm 2.8 = awful vignetting?
Hi,
I am using the HV20 with an SGPro and when I try to use my Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 lens, the vignetting is unbearable (fully open, and with plenty of light). I've heard that because the SGPro is developed for more high-end cameras, that the vignetting is pretty normal with the HV20, but I wouldn't think it should be this bad. I mean, the image is very dark and grainy, and it looks like just a spotlight in the middle.
I've experimented with TV Mode / Cinemode, and the camera is set for 1/48 @ 2.8.
I've heard that there is an extension tube that would help. Does anyone know about this?
If it would help, I'll try to record something and upload it as an example. The vignetting on my 50mm is livable (even at 2.8), but on this 28mm it looks awful. Is there a way around this? Am I doing something wrong? (I'm sure I am, because the SGPro footage looks so great, even from other HV20's!).
Thanks.
