I'm doing three commercials for a book on global warming and business. My biggest problem was how to represent global warming when I live in southern California and it's about 80F today.
I ended up putting together what I think is a pretty decent representation with a couple blocks of ice, a bottle of water and using the DOF control of the A1.
By narrowing the DOF and using the nice bokeh you don't even notice the palm trees in the back ground. Classical use of DOF to focus the attention of the audience on what you want them to see.
I uploaded a shot of the windmills in Palm Springs too. They were shot in 24f, and when I zoom in there are no interlacing artifacts, just motion blur.
Hopefully I'll have all three commercials done in a week or two and I'll upload to Vimeo.
