    Default 24p and Full HD

    Yes,I know this quesiton has been asked too many times but all those threads are all crowdy and i cant pick the info i realy need to make it work.

    Questions;
    My cam is PAL i live in a PAL country,my HV30 shoots in 25p wich is i guess 24.something p right?So i dont have to do pull down?

    2nd Question...HV30 clips are 1440 something like that,i heard that they need to be full HD wich is 1920 something and heard there is a way for that,but i realy didnt understand it since my english aint that good.I use Firewire cable and capture clips with Magix 14.I do have a HD graphic card if that is needed but i use the HD port to connect it with HD TV.(I am sayin this because i heard stuff about HV30 and HD connection needed for 1920)

    For forum mod.I AM SORRY BUT I HAD TO DO IT! REALY!Okay i buy you a beer sometime and we are even

    What are you trying to achieve. Please answer that question first.
    What are you shooting. What do you want the final movie to be presented/broadcast in?

    Yeah, 25p is (24+1)p, unless I completely forgot first grade math.

    It is plain awful for a native speaker. If you are not a native speaker then at least stay away from slang.

    People hear stuff all the time. You need a card with HDMI input to capture full HD from HDMI port. Presently your only option is BlackMagic, and it only makes sense for live capture, not for capture from tape. I tell you this: you don't need it.

    It is not important what graphics card or a monitor you have for FireWire capturing and editing as long as you are comfortable with preview/render speed.

    Please respect the forum rules. There's a good reason we ask you not to start new threads on old subjects. Now, when some respectful member takes the time to search first on this same subject he'll have to waste time reading this useless thread along with the one you should have posted this in. So, no, you didn't HAVE to do it.
    To all Newbies: Have you read this FAQ before posting? Or watched this short video?
    If you haven't, then don't complain when I close or move your thread.
