On other Vixia Cams such as the HG20 and all, do you have to remove the pull down still when recording 24p since it's not tape?

Also do the other Vixia cams work well with 35mm adapters? I was thinking maybe the lack of a focus wheel makes things annoying. Although there is the joystick.

* Yep, you do need to remove pulldown, at least on the HF10/100.
* Why would you need a focus wheel on the camera if you have one on the big lens in front of it?

You have to focus on the screen and keep it there, i initially was thinking it was all autofocus, but then i forgot that the joystick is there.

Anyhow, sucks about the pulldown removal. Wish i could just afford an XH-A1
