Google? Reseller Ratings? Just do some searches.

A usual rule of thumb is if it's too good to be true, forget about it. Stores that have a 70% satisfied customer rating are not good. Would you purchase something from someone on ebay with a 70% feedback rating? I would not.

Especially when you are not buying 2 dollar chapstick but thousands in high end video/audio equipment.

I've bought through these guys through Amazon.com. Never had a problem. Shipping was fast (I'm in Canada), and service was excellent both times that I ordered from them.

Can a leopad change its spot? dealt with them a long time ago, wasn't a good experience at the store back then, the usual bait and switch... etc.

company changes hands, but you should look at the track record - feedbacks and make your own mind.

if they sell you a lemon, would they take it back? or do you have to jump thru hoops? I don't know, I rather go with amazon or some other bigger chain if I were you.

    my 2 cents

It's interesting that the only person who spoke positively of 47th street has only one post. I have my doubts that number of posts is likely to ever change.

I bought some accessories about a year ago and everything showed up quick. I even had to return an item and they accepted it minus a 20% restocking fee. No biggy to me as that is normal. That was for a a total of about a $100 worth or stuff. Bought something recently for about $30 on eBay and it came lightning quick too.

Just food for thought since you asked and I have used them...
