    Default whats the best program to transfer vid to comp?

    i want to know if there is a program where you dont lose much quality of the material/video when you transfer it to a computer?
    ( i have hv30 )

    if there is, whats the best one?

    Transfering footage from camcorder to PC is a lossless process. You won't get degradation of image quality.

    The best free one everybody uses is HDVSplit. Please read the FAQ

    Since you need a video editor anyway, why not use the editor you choose to purchase to capture your video with. Than it's a one step process.
