I would post on vimeo if i were you, and i would also post pictures of the adapter.
Maybe posting 100mb rars, no pictures or screenshots and no information other than price wasn't the best introduction to your new adapter.
Upload to vimeo and give us something to work with please.
i can't upload to vimeo. THe upload speed goes arround 200/250 and than it freeze in %4. Any other succestions?
however i have some footage from hey35 which was built for cameras with 72mm filter mouth.

the hv30 one (which i couldn't uploaded to vimeo) is much better than theese.

please don't take this the wrong way, but for $400 clams, most people will probably be expecting something that looks a little better than something us DIYers are cobbling together ourselves with asian macro tubes.

Are you using a macro lens at all?
Meh, its nothing new. I can see chromatic aberration around the edges, and the image as a whole seems kind of soft to me, but maybe thats just the focus. Also, their is more to color grading than just boosting contrast. Try controlling your highlights and blacks a little better and i thin you will be happier with the overall image. You did have some nice bokeh in some shots, such as the one with the foot in it.
All in all, i think that people can get a smaller, lighter, cheaper adapter from twoneil that will perform just the same, and has better street reputation (yes, i know that yours is a vibrating model, but to be honest, proper care of an adapter can fix the same problems a vibrating motor will. Even if you spend $150 on cavision rails to go with a twoneil, it'll still cost less.
Im not trying to put you off, its just that their are a lot of DIY adapters for sale now, and unless you bring something new to the table (ie. new features, better pricing), your adapter might not sell the way you would like it to.

you know chromatic aberration is about the deformation of the wavelenghts of the light right? Or are you talking about the barrel distortion of the 28m lens?
try to download the file its much sharper.
i use achromatic lens and condenser lens also. it may be the reason for barrel distortion in 28mm shots .and the smooth look

Where are the specs? What kind of GG element? What's used for the achromat? What about the condenser? It's a separate unit from the GG element?
Check out the BJ35 Adapters. Because nothing helps a filmmaker better than a BJ.
lets make it clear. all thing is diy as wel as the rod.
its actually not that long. ok i will keep on posting the updates. gg element is own constructed. condenser is separete from gg.
is it realy importent to have tiny miny adapter? i mean if it makes the visual better why shouldn't it be 6 cm longer? whats the metter with it? (the adapter is not actually this long. becouse i glued condenser to wrong element it needed to be longer.)

i hate to be crass, but all the other guys are right on the money, $400 is way too much to spend on yet another DIY adaptor with nothing new to offer, and top that off with poor presentation (blurry photos af an "incomplete" product with posts riddled with typos and poor grammar, and very little test footage available in a convenient format)
i'd say, if youre serious about selling a product, first evaluate what you've got and either
a) give the consumer more for the price than what's already out there
or
b) provide it at a price that makes it competitive
jehu, twoneil, gregtay, jenzababe etc... are all offering a much more polished product at more competitive prices, the market doesnt need to be flooded with yet another macro tube adaptor that gives the same damn results as everyone elses.
hell, put the thing in a soda can and paint it black, at least it'll look different.

if the soda can isnt long enough, i highly suggest a pringles can to reduce barrel distortion and vignetting...
i know theyre convenient, but why are DIYrs (minus Daniel's tutorials) stuck on macro tubes?
it reminds me how serifs were used on typefaces until the late 18th century when finally someone realized that since it had been centuries since anyone etched type in stone, they were no longer needed...
just a thought.

Yeah I've always wondered the same thing, there is so much better materials out there that wouldn't cost that much more to make and it would look a whole lot better. I guess the tubes are just the right fit and it's the easiest option at $10 a tube set.

I know they're pretty unattractive, but you can't beat the price or the fact that they have the lens mount already.
i get what you are pointing out.
Than i will be arround bettering the product in everyway.
