    Default HV20 underwater

Has anyone used the HV20 underwater in either a generic housing or equinox etc? I'm just curious what settings you went with. I figured 24p (for low light performance) and cine mode. Any suggetions out there? What did you use for lighting?

The lack of the LANC connection makes it difficult to use generic underwater housing.

    See this thread

There is a discussion about underwater housing and how to make one yourself.
there are some housings on Ebay you can use your HV20 in, or you can use a "non-control" generic housing like the Nemo

Thanks for the Nemo link. That looks like a great generic solution. At that price point it is not worth making one yourself. I don't care about LANC, just more to go wrong.

Ikelite now has a housing in production. it should be available in a couple of weeks. It will retail for $1100 and have a number of manual controls + plus mirror for viewscreen. You will also be able to white balance with the Ikelite.

Thats good news, altough the price isn't that great
But it's about the same price rate as the housing for the HV10...

I have send two or three email to them, but haven't got any answer or reply back from them... So I was a little disspaointed of Ikelight.
But they do have great housings with many functions possible!
