Default Going on a trip - need a battery pack for both hv20 and laptop!

I am going on a long trip in the upcoming month and I need something that will both run my HV20 and my laptop (at the same time would be great but not necessary). Any ideas on a battery that would do this? I would like the battery to at least have a good amount of time, like 4 hours, but maybe that is unrealistic.

    Thanks

I am going to be on a bus for a long time, so no AC. i was hoping to find something I could charge up and then use off and on - when I get to my destination, charge it again and then use when there isn't an AC around.

    Hi netrate,

I use an Everon 12V 12Ah AGM sealed battery to power up my Cam and 8" Monitor. I Can't say for how long, as I've never run it out, doing sporatic shooting at an all day horse show. It's about 4" X 4" X 6" and I carry it in a camerabag. It's also not lite. 5lbs or so ?? Great for stablizing my Tri-Pod. I also have two smaller battery units.

If you can determine how much Ah Hours your equipment pulls, then you can get an idea of how much battery you need, for whatever time you need to cover. Then just buy the battery size you need. I got mine at a local Batteries Plus store.

How much did you end up paying, if you don't mind me asking?

    Hi Clif,

About $40 to $50 as I recall. Then you have to have, or get a charger too.

The one I have weighs about 10 lbs, I think. Smaller ones' weigh less. You need to figure out the Ah you need, so you get the litest one you can.
