I cant lock the exposure which isnt realy nice, I know its possible.

at the set key/joystick press brings the menu in right side..tab down to exposure..then press tick upwards to be able to manually set it..but left/right +/- keep beeing grayed out.
im in P mode HDV 1080i blahness.

    whats up with that?

The joystick is a bit counter-intutive to me. You have to click up towards EXP twice to lock and unlock.
