Ideas for Video Slide Show

I'm doing a video slide show for a graduating class of medical students, not like doctors and stuff, but nurses and lab technicians etc. They've given me less than 100 pictures(digitally). I will be putting the pictures in on the timeline in Premiere and making a video slide show with music for them to put up on the projector before the pinning ceremony at the graduation thingy. I've done a couple slide shows before. The pictures they gave me arent all too interesting, so do you all have any ideas to make it extra cool. Something I can do to where they like it more than they would the standard fare. Some tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated. I have Adobe Production Studio, so I can use any programs in the suite if you have ideas with either of them. I just want to make it extra cool, so maybe in the future they'll want to continue using my services. Thanks alot.

Well, if the pictures aren't interesting, then you're in a jam. i think funny comment on each picture or a funny drawing is your best bet

It's kinda hard to think of something when we don't know what the actual pictures look like, but you could, say for instance, divide all pics in grooups, funny, sad excitin etc., and then add really nice music and make it all into a nice little story. Or something

Can you say wht are the pictures like? Them in school, at work...? Also, what do the expect of you? Something they can look after 30 years and go " AWWWWWWW" nor something funny just to be shown that evening?

That's a very cool slide show. It's very different from the one I had previously made, I like the cartoony feel of yours. The pictures are of the students with each other in group pics, alone smiling and some of them learning to draw blood. They actually choose their own music... What I had previously done that I will do again is zoom in to the pics and zoom out, pan and just simple key frame effects like that to spice it up. Taky's slide show gave me an idea that for some parts maybe I can add different elements that have to to with their field and place those elements on the layer or track above their picturs. I guess it is pretty limited on how creative I can get. Maybe just cropping certain things out and using he zoom pan ant tilting with keyframes for certain ones...
