AAAAGGGGHHHHHH! You got me! From some of the posts I've read here, maybe everybody should be doing that.

Actually, I seldom use a wp, choosing instead to carefully write my post or reply, then preview it for continuity of thought and relevance.

But too often I hit "Submit" only to re-read it and find a necessary addition or deletion of a word or words in interest of clarity and less often, brevity (self-evident.) And sometimes of late, to keep me from getting banned!

I do have a code though and that's only to edit for those reasons or other grammatical error and NEVER to change or diffuse the meaning or intent of my position, whether popular or not. I set that as a strict rule before I ever made my first post anywhere.

I'm not a perfectionist but find my method to be very therapeutic and entertaining. Well, to me anyway.
I also learn a lot by trying to write correctly.

See Jo and BG, I do have some merits....
    but not too many.

I'm still waiting for my dad to have "the talk" with me.

We can have one when I come by later this month!

Btw, I want to see Taky if at all possible. Maybe we can get him to pay for lunch!

I think we can arrange that, but he'll want to go for Chinese.

Even if they didn't have a talk that spelled out specifics of what might happen if you have sex, I'm sure that somewhere in your upbringing, your parents or someone guided you in ways that helped you become the man you are today.

Of course here on this forum we don't truly know the debths of peoples character. We can guess and obtain some intuition from the posts we read, but we don't truly know each other. I might draw up a positive image of you here, but you could be some kind of psychopath. This is one reason among many, that we should avoid personal attacks to people we only know through posts.

By the way, my parents never had any talks with me about sex nor did I have any with my 4 kids. I think I turned out OK and believe my kids did too. However, I still think the talks are the way to go. They probably should start way before they are teenagers.

I did have talks with my two sons.
And look what that has brought me . . .
My sons are 41 and 37 and I am not a grandfather yet!

    Don't worry . . .
The elder son lives with a friend . . .
And he met a girl, that lives with another girl . . .
    Some 7 months ago he donated . . .
    I live real close to a Zoo . . .
Already saving for tickets with my "grandson". . .

    Typically Dutch, don't you think?

lol...I have...in subtle ways already to my seven year old daughter...I tell her...YOUR NOT GETTING A BOYFRIEND TILL YOUR 35...of course I'm kidding. but I will be buying a shotgun before she becomes a teenager I'll do what my co-worker claims he did with hsi daughter's first boyfriend when he came over...and sit there in the living room...at a table...cleaning my automatic pistol...with a very menacing look on my face. And if and when he tries to kiss her goodnight...just point the laser up and down his chest a few times...he'll get the point. I've got a 2 year old...and a 7 year old...and have some time to prepare for this....but with all women in the house....I'm frettin.
