Monitoring Cineform Aspect HD or Prospect HD FullScreen on Seperate Monitor
I have been using Cineform's Aspect HD and tested Prospect HD with excellent results on my DIY PC system. I usually capture either 24P or 30P from the HV30. I would like to preview and scrub realtime fullscreen HD previews of my Premiere CS3 timeline on a Sceptre 24" 1080P LCD while using the Cineform Prospect Codec.
I have searched everywhere for days on how to do this and the best answer is "AJA" on the cineform website. My question is "AJA What?" Cineform needs to more clearly define EXACTLY what Cards we need to purchase to preview our HV30 footage in realtime from the timeline.
using my current Nvidia 7900 dual-monitor video card, there is an option in Premiere settings to "Overlay to 2nd Monitor" but it is not realtime and lags on average of a 2 second delay which is unacceptable with clients looking over your shoulder.
David from Cineform, if your out there and can see this, please update your website to make it easier for system builders to integrate your product for a professional workstation. Also make it very clear as to what Card make and MODELS we can use, either AJA, Blackmagic, ATI and which is best suited for realtime multiscreen previewing for HV30 24P/30P footage.
I am also open to hearing PowerMac portable solutions too. Are there any realtime 10-bit fullscreen preview solutions for Hv30 24P footage? I have read about the MXO2 but don't know if it supports our HV30's 24P pulldown.
