    (Emphasis added).

I'm pretty sure this is why Spoiler's list doesn't include some of the other suggestions.

I suppose technically this is still a "coming soon" rather than an actual shipping product, but the SmallHD monitors coming from user Dale Backus look like they're going to be well worthy of inclusion.

Good list, but please do not suggest the 6600Pro wide angle, please suggest the 7000pro one, which is specifically made for HD. HD glasses are more refined than for miniDV cameras, and it's important people buy the HD versions of these lenses.

People, please hone your reading comprehension skills. This is not a list of wants. This is a list of items sold by respected members of this forum. Do not tell us what you'd like to see included.

why when everybody and there brother seems to like the 6600Pro better?

Plus.... the 6600Pro is the same as there HD 6600 version.... so what gives? am I missing something?

Because the 6600Pro is in fact an HD lens or has the HD specs.

Just a small correction on this. The step up ring for thew HD7000 is actually 43mm-58mm not 43mm-52mm.

Having purchased the HD7000 locally in Australia and then spent an unbelievable amount of time trying to track down a step up ring I almost purchased the wrong size based on this post. Its only when I checked the specs of the lens that I realised.

I agree.... somebody needs to get there act together.

plus we all know the 6600Pro has the HD specs.

seems to be a deceptive post with false information to boot.

I'm sorry if this has been answered on another post...I just can't seem to find the answer. I recently purchased a set of 43mm lenses (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=400015728760) and I also want to buy a lens hood. I want to have the lens hood on at the same time as one of the filters. Should I buy a 43mm lens hood? Or should I get another size? (I noticed a screw thread on the front of these lenses)
    Thanks for the help

what about some type of lighting kit? Personally i think lighting is one of the most important aspects of a shot, but i don't see any lighting accessories listed. i dont know of any single kit though that is the "must have", but depending on the needs a simple 3 point setup would be the minimum must have in my opinion

Any good (and inexpensive!) kits you recommend? Looking on Ebay right now. Things to look for? Wattage, K, types of stands, etc?

    Thanks, Deborah

good luck getting any response. this thread should be closed or locked because it serves very little purpose if there is bad information that is NEVER updated.

As a person who was one of the first to order it, doesn't it seem a little pre-mature to list Dave's D|Focus follow focus as a must have from board members without anybody having even taken delivery of one? As I noted, I've already ordered one and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival...but the thing could totally suck ass and this list (I assume) is for products that the community is giving it's stamp of approval to. Might it be prudent to at least wait for the first wave of orders to be filled and some reviews posted before it's added?

No offense to you Dave! I expect to write a glowing review in a couple of weeks. Hopefully my SG Blade will be in about the same time so I can post videos using the combo instead of my current DIY unit!

Not to sound disrespectful Eugenia, but my chart tests and footage do not concur with your statement. In fact, I tested three HD6600's and three HD7000 lenses and my findings are the opposite. With reference to the Canon HVxx series of cameras, the HD6600 are superior at most zoom settings than the HD7000. Please do show me third party tests that refute my conclusions.

Raynox's own 'marketing' is suspect and my company, Imago Metrics LLC is an independent third party. So who should accessory lens buyers believe and why?

add this to the top accessories for lighting.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tab%3DWatching

works like a charm. comes with flash bracket so you still can use the top part of the hv30 for your videomic.

What, and how, are you filming? I have an el-cheapo kit, and can recommend a few. A lot of folk like eBay, but I prefer to make purchases in brick-and-mortar shops or their online equivalents.

(There are a few notable exceptions to purchasing online-only, like purchases from hv20.com members. I've had all successful order so far.)

    Default Suggestions on Lens Hood?

    Hey Guys,
I'm searching B&H for lens hoods for the HV30
and I'm basically wondering if you can ever go wrong on buying a lens hood
and if you had any suggestions on what to look out for.
By the way I'm a college student so money is, as you can imagine, tight
So I'd love to have a lens hood under $40 if that's reasonable.
