Default Anyone had problems with pancake motors from Solarbotics?

So these small pancake motors (I bought mine from solarbotics) are showing some problems. Letus and Brevis are also getting this I have noticed. Inside them are apparently small bristles that supply the motor with current. When we use them for adapters, they run in a way they were not designed for so the bristles wear down and then it is sometimes difficult to get the motor going again after you turn them off.

Has anyone found a good alternative or better motors?

mine is still running fine, when I ordered mine I ordered 2, I figured if something happened to it I would have a spare.

for the price, its a good little motor.
