Successfull Batch Capture / Redigitize?

Has anyone succesfully recaptured offline clips ? Neither Final Cut nor Avid Xpres Pro (PC) nor Premiere CS managed to do this. I use my HV20 in HDV but with downconversion to DV mode, is this the problem why the NLE's cannot find the IN-Points? Any tips?

Avid Liquid 7 is about the only NLE that I know of that will batch capture HD with frame accuracy. Unfortunately it is being discontinued and the 7.2 version is the last one to be offered. There is supposed to be a replacement out in late 2009 but no one knows if it will be similar. You can pick it up for about $500 ($900 with the BOB)

but why does the HV20 have problems with this? It is not an editing software problem as far as i understand... or rather only a problem resulting from the combination of editing software and the HV20, i edited & redigitized successfully with all kinds of software (& software versions) and DV cameras - for years, even in the days of my old XL-1 with Avid Xpress DV...

And why does no one else here bother about this? If you cannot recapture the clips, it is very unsecure to use the HV20 in this workflow. having the tapes archived & being able to recapture is an absolutely standard workflow & as a backup measure absolutely indespensable... or is this only resulting from the downconversion i am doing, will this work when i start digitizing the HDV native?
