I've upgraded to a quad core so this CPU is up for grabs. It's a particularly good example as I've had it running for the past 12 months at 3.6GHz. If that worries you then look elsewhere and stick to the old wives tales! It shouldn't worry you one bit as I've got a serious cooling setup and it was 100% prime stable at that speed. At 3.6GHz it represents rather ridiculous value since it's faster than any currently available core2duo processor. How about that? If you're not into overclocking then this CPU will run at a standard 2.4GHz. This CPU will come only as a CPU, no stock cooler, box, etc. This is good as it saves you on postage costs!

I know someone is bound to ask "Is this CPU good for HDV editing?" and the answer is a definitive yes. This will eat up your HDV editing. I upgraded to a quad core because I just got some extra cash and I'm about to do a big (for me) edit.

Price is £50 + delivery (which I guess will be about £4). Item is located in the UK and I'd rather post to someone also in the UK. I doubt this represents good value to those in the US due to your poor dollar, but if someone abroad wants it then get in touch. I can accept payment via paypal but would really prefer a bank transfer/cheque/cash to save on paypal fees.
