Default Whats up with pricing - H&V/Butterfly/Best Buy

Perhaps i just need to save more and be done with it and buy UK (i am in the UK)

I was going to get my HV30 from H&B, they were priced at $799, butterflyphoto have them for $768, just in the last few days H&V have gone up to $899!!! Whaaaaat....

They are the only online company i found that woudl allow me to use my UK card and ship US internally, whiel butterflyphoto have been honest and up front saying they will only accept a US card for payment.

The cheapest i found these in the UK is £630

Do Best Buy price match online companies when they have stock?

I then read the sticky on PAL vs NTSC and see some real enthusiasts prefer PAL, but lets be honest, i am not and this was only a start up hobbie.

I am hoping there is no difference between the PAL and NTSC? I have seen with other camcorders the UK PAL equal have often had thier vedio inputs removed.

Can anyone help shed some light or give some guidance?

    Cheers.....Q

Thanks Scott, the shame is thats still above what i was looking to pay for the HV30 and still get some extra battery and tapes.

Looks like I am just going to have to wait and save more and get a UK one in due course.

    Cheers though.
