    Default WD-H47 degrade picture quality?

Just picked up a WD-H47 and did a few tests. The added width is great, it really makes the HV-20 that much better.

On the other hand, in the short time I had to experiment with this new lens I noticed a change in the picture quality. The colors were slightly different and it looked like the shaded areas were darker and lacked detail.

Is it just me...or my amateur eye? Or is there a difference when a lens is attached to the camcorder?

can you post some footage taken nearly the same time w/ the lens on and off?

in general, there would be image quality loss whenever you add anything (including adapter like wd-h47) in front of your lens.

wd-h47 is supposedly/probably one of the best wide angle adapters to add to your hv20 though.
