    Three questions:
    1) Can the screen be replaced in these units for a better (non-marked) screen?
    2) Do the standard JAG units have an achromat ?
    3) How are you getting along with my unit ?
    Lee
1- yes it will require you to unglue old screen and glue new screen in its place.
2- Yes standard jags have an Achromat built in.
3- Im looking down my order list and i don't see a Lee Wilson.

Well, you have taken my money !

I have not been ambiguous in my communication, I paid by PAYPAL nine days ago to the account you instructed me to and included a clear description of my order as instructed - below is my last email communication with you. (**I have removed my home address from this cut and paste**)

You say they're not vibrating and there's no achromat. So are these just tubes with the EE-S screens mounted inside? How are the screens mounted? Are they in a custom holder or one from jetsetmodels?

You did include a note on payment, but had you mentioned that it would had helped me answered your question faster.

Anyone have any ideas on how i can automate some kind of email notification system. The "did you get my payment" and "hows my order doing" emails are killing me, i'm spending 4-6 hours a day just answering emails and it just seems like i'm getting less and less time to build stuff.

Your email should have an auto-response option and of course paypal will notify them if their payment has gone through. Your auto responder should say something to let people know that you will not read/respond to such inquiries and that if they need to alter an order or something to that affect, to send you an email with a specific heading that then will help you sift through the email you need to respond to.

Oooh, yes, answering all those emails.... the same questions over and over... Nightmare, but necessary for good customer relations.

    @ jehugarcia

Just a simple question [Why are you checking this thread if not to reply to customer's/potential customer's questions anyhow ? ]

How are you getting along with my unit, still on time for a 10 day build ? (trying to squeeze this through to the UK before the school holidays are up).

    Cheers

    Lee "Claire Ricketts" Wilson.

Is there a Jag35 channel on vimeo? or a thread showing the videos of various JAG users? I'm only seeing a couple non-Jehu videos floating around.

    thanks.

Lee your adapter is coming along well, the main tube and screen suspension assembly is complete, i just need to get the battery and electronics box done, i'm waiting for batteries and some other stuff, if they arrive monday, i most likely will b able to ship your unit out monday.

By the way here is more footage shot lately, it seems there is a trick with camera settings for getting rid of vignette on sunny conditions. Problem is i really don't know what i changed, but im getting better results with this same adapter. I will try and figure it out and post findings to help you guys get the best results right after getting your unit.

-instead of spending the 4 to 6 hours a day answering emails that are asking you the same thing, why dont you spend one day to compile an informative FAQ's post, or better yet, a simple website that will have all that info.

    you should read this book.....http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/

-take control of your work, dont let it control you.

    -btw, what is a jag35?

Because those posts already exist, here on the hv20.com they answer questions such as "what is an Achromat" "What is a DOF" "why does it burn when i piss" 'What is the meaning of Life"
People are just not reading them.

I've got no time for that, i've got to build more adapters! (unless it shows me how to build more adapter better and faster, Does it?)

Jehugarcia, i should be recieving my hv30 soon (and my adapter ) and was wondering, if i sent you my cam for the flip hack, how long would it take to reach you and how long would it take you to do the hack and send it back to me (i live in the UK). Also seeing as it is a brand new camera, how big is the possibility of you breaking it as i am quite hesitant of sending you a brand new camera.

    1. As fast as you ship it and pay to have it shipped back. An appropriate question to ask is how long a flip hack takes on average.

    2. He has done several flip hacks and is apparently quite competent when dealing with these. My guess, based off everything I've read, is that he has yet to break a camera, but I'm sure there is a first time for everything.

There's always the chance but 40+ hacks and haven't killed one yet.

By the way it still says we get a $35 if we buy the bundle. Which we don't so I think you should change that.
