    Default Trouble Charging?

    I just got a new HV20 today and got home and wanted to charge the battery. So after reading the instructions I hooked it all up but power indicator is not flashing like it should when its charging. I checked the make sure its getting power and the camcorder works on the powersupply without the battery so its getting power. I check the battery status and it shows it came about 1/4 full. Does any one know whats going on?

    Well called and talked to Canon and yes it is a problem so I am taking it back to the store in the morning. Arrghh
