Question Can not adjust or animate Video FX - Sony Vegas 8 Problem

    Hey,

I'm having a problem with Sony Vegas Pro 8.

I can add FX to a video clip by pressing the little plus sign looking object on a video clip, but after I select which FX I want, (putting them in a chain), I press okay but the box where you can adjust the effect and animate it doesn't popup.

So I can add effects but not adjust them or animate them because the Event FX window does not popup.

It used to be fine but somehow it stopped working now, can someone help me?

Try Resetting Vegas to its defaults.
    Ctrl+Shift+Alt when opening up Vegas.
But be warned, you'll lose any personal settings in Vegas!

Maybe you want to ask Sony for tech support?

    Alex,
You do it immediately after clicking to open the program. If the program opens, you were too slow Let us know if this helps. Cin
PS. In Vegas Studio, you only need to hit Ctrl + Shift for this to work, but it also works if you want to hold Alt also.

Or you can join the Vegas forum on the Sony site, the people there have written the book about Vegas (literally - Douglas Spotted Eagle), if anyone can help you, it's them.
