Drive Reading/Writing Question
I have a 10k RPM main drive (C Drive) with windows and all my programs on it, including vegas. I also have a 500GB 7200rpm auxilary drive(E drive) with all my media.
For Vegas, would it be better to locate the original files I am editing with on the C drive, and render the file to the E drive? Right now I am reading and writing on the E drive. My intution of computers tells me if I read/write on the two drives it may be faster.
Thanks!

Best to leave your OS and application in the boot drive. All your video files in a separate drive.
