How can I do multiple interviews with only 2 Cards, an old Laptop and external HDD

I have a Cannon XF100 with dual card slots filled with two 32GB San Disk SDCFX cards. At my currant settings I can get about 2 and a half hours on the consecutive setting.

My problem is that I have to go on the road and film at least 10 interviews that will last about 2 and a half hours. So my first job is to purchase more cards but the budget will only allow for a couple of 64gb max.

So my only other thought is take my 4 year old PC Laptop, load up the latest Adobe Premier, attach a 2TB HDD (with a couple in reserve) and suck off the data I've recorded that day onto the laptop/hdd through Premier each night so I can record over that data again the next day.

Can anyone see any flaws in this idea or offer a better solution? Plus whats a really reliable brand of SDCFX card out there that can do the job just as well as the San Disk brand?

The thing is that I'm only just getting used to the XF100 and I haven't imported recorded video off the XF yet. I use a Mac Pro and FCP but because I can't afford a MacbookPro I thought I could start using Premier so I can use it in the way I've just stated.
Is it going to be easy enough to import footage captured through Premier on the laptop to Premier on the Mac Pro?

Any help, hints, secrets would be really appreciated.

Hi,
so I've ditched the S100 for the sake of G10 and it's such a relief. For $800 I've managed to get used G10 in excellent condition, but what troubles me is the pretty bad chromatic aberration. From what I have heard, G10 should have none to minimum abberation thanks to its L-class lens.
Yet this is what I got:
<a href="http://hddv.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=18181&d=1366868047" title="Name: IMG_0309.jpg
Notice the very edges of the image, shot on full 10x zoom.

Is this normal?
