View Full Version : Dell XPS m1330 with HDMI port

Just saw this on cNET
The review says it's an HDMI output port. But within the video, the guy mentioned it is an HDMI input port. That would be wonderful to carry such laptop and perform live capture with HV20.

OK capture to what?
Internal HDD is to slow for uncompressed.
FSB is to slow for CF.

Does it have to be uncompresed? Why not with a codec of choice (other than HDV)?
It's only an HDMI output anyway.

the intermediate software would have to be able to capture from said port...

btw the box is a SuperMicro with 2.4 single/dual core xeon 2.4, 2G mem , 4 drives (500gb sata raid 1,0,5) BM Card, 30 lbs
less than 2g captures fine...GFX is worthless for anything.
Use either the BM Mjpeg or uncompressed capture, or for 599 add the Neo HD to it for CineForm 1920...
