Is there somebody who has experience with making music videos? I am going to shoot music video for one rapper from the internet. We are starting to write the shooting script. I'l be greatful for any advice (or link to helpful article) related to writing the script or even shooting.

i've directed a dozen, shot another dozen, and produced/gripped/catered/whatever several dozen more so for what it's worth: i never write a script, i write a treatment with optional mood board, this communicates the look and feel of the video along with clothes, locations and such, then a shotlist, which is all the shots i think i need to be able to edit it all together. music videos are always created in the editing, so don't even dream about visualizing it all beforehand. or do by all means, it's fun and can lead to more ideas, but don't base your shotlist on it but on what you need to cover the song. at any point in the song you need at least two or three "fresh" angles to chose from, and don't count on being able to use a cutaway or insert. if it's story based you need story all the way, if it's performance based you need performance all the way. i usually type out the lyrics and instrumental parts with timing then mark each shot in this with a vertical line. if you're shooting video and have time you can just roll the entire song each take, but i always use film. then make sure you get some beautiful images et voila. done.
