I purchased this brand new for $720 last year, looking to get $500 shipped. I can post pictures if anyone is interested.

Have you tried eBay? It sucks to have to pay fees to ebay but there're lots of people willing to buy older tech stuff from eBay. Good luck.

I haven't tried eBay yet, but I will definitely do that sometime this week if it doesn't sell.

If you do, here's some tips.
If you decide to take Paypal, make sure you put in the listing that you sell only to "Paypal member with Confirmed Address" and only to US, Canada and UK.
Last year, I sold an old Dell laptop to someone in Russia. I banked the money and shipped the laptop. One month later, Paypal reversed the charge saying the buyer was using a stolen credit card. I lost $700 in that transaction.
Lesson learned. Now I only sell to US, UK and Canada with Confirmed Paypal address. Paypal's seller protection plan will cover transactions lost if these criteria are met. So good luck.

If you're in the US, I would do craigslist - local, cash only sales. I've sold several computers, televisions and video cameras that way. I get top dollar, in cash with no selling/shipping fees. If you're uncomfortable with having people come to your home, meet at a local restuarant or other public place. Most of my stuff has sold in one or two days - always less than one week. If you're in a big city in the US, craigslist is the way to go to sell used electronic/photography/video equipment.

That's a good idea. You will have to live in one of the metro area criagslist has. It is another good way to sell stuff.
