Before I start I need to say that I have been following the forum for weeks now and really appreciate all the knowledgable members here. That's why I am posting...
I am in the market for a good camcorder for our family. I have no desire to shoot short, independant type films etc. I borrowed an HV20 from my school and shot some footage one afternoon and then spent about 15-20 mins editing it in iMovie (which shows my lack of need for bells and whistles) and published it to .mac with little trouble. I liked the camera, but I am wondering if it's just too much for what I do.
Knowing my situation, would you recommend this camera or another if I were your brother (not brother-in-law :hv20-smilie03:) for my needs. I know that there are hard drive based cameras etc. and I just know so little. I would trust the advice I get from the kids at Best Buy and CC but... :hv20-smilie15:
Thanks for the input!
