I have been reading this forum for a while. It has been really helpful. My HV20 came yesterday. I had a sony handycam dcrhc27e and I can really see the difference between the 2 regards quality. I especially like the optical image stabiliser what a difference that makes compared to the digital one in the sony.
The sony has nightshot but it is all black and white with a green hue. Not pleasant to view. I didn't think I would be able to get to grips with the manual settings. However this forum has helped me a great deal. The film I took with the manual settings in low light were so much superior. There was colour minimal grain and looked really good.
Thanks to this forum it has made it easier to get to grips with my new camcorder, so thanks all.
