just becouse you paid for a song doesnt mean you can use it in your movie.
i would search on sites like myspace and find unsigned artists and just ask, if you movie is good it would be a nice place for them to show their music..

It seems to be royalty free production music.

Stock20 is awesome. They have a lot of cool stuff. If you have the money, you can buy stuff from KillerTracks.com as well. All you have to do with them is pay a deposit, and then you can download a track, and the money for the track comes out of your deposit.
The tracks arent too bad pricewise if I remember from the rep I talked with last. Depends on your usage and the rights you need. But something in the range of $60 US sounds about right, again, going by memory from a few months ago. But some of their tracks are really cool.
DigitalJuice.com has stock music as well, but its bought outright. So you dont have to worry about rights fees and usage stuff. Obviously, you cant go make a CD with one of the songs and sell it. This goes for any stock music you buy, no matter the license you buy for its use. The really cool thing about their StackTRAXX volumes is that they are layered. You can do whatever you want with them as far as editing the pieces of the tracks. Its all layered to let you customize to your content.
TwistedTracks.com is also a great place to check out. They have a great amount of stuff to sort through. Give them a look. Last time I checked, you get a $50 credit after signing up for free on the site. You can purchase whatever you want with it. Depending on what you want, you can get a whole song collection with that. It would have teasers and cuts and full length stuff with it. (:15, :60, 2:30, ext. for example).
Bookmark them all. They are all worthy of keeping around for any project that needs some music to it. Hope this helps.
