Hey guys, Im using Premiere to edit and After Effects to color correct my 24p footage, but Im wondering what your workflow is for this? I mean should I color correct the raw footage first, then render, then import to premiere or vice versa? It just seems like alot of steps... also, how can I make the footage not so choppy when im editing?? Someone said to make it a proxy, but I dont know how to do that... anyways thanks for the help

If you can get "The DV Rebel's Guide: An All-Digital Approach to Making Killer Action Movies on the Cheap (Peachpit): Stu Maschwitz"
This book goes into a lot of detail on how to get your editted project from Premier into AE for highest quality, also has a lot on color correction, plus free tools for AE on the accompaning DVD...
Even if you don't like action movies the info in the book is awsome...

I'm outputting my projects twice...once for tv viewing and once for computer viewing. I've done a few tests with studio rgb and computer rgb to make sure I've got the color set correctly for the different viewing devices. That means leaving it alone for the TV, and changing it to computer RGB for the computer viewing (in vegas).
