Just shot this yesterday while on my way up to do some hiking in the Idaho Sawtooth mountains above Stanley.

This was shot 1080i with the default settings and then compressed using the AppleTV preset and then the video was deinterlaced and resaved within Quicktime.
The whitewater looks a little choppy and pixelated to me. I'm not sure how the original looks - I don't yet have a nice flatscreen TV with HDMI inputs and the HV20 video looks just okay on my rear projection HD TV via component.
I thought it was cool how you could hear the guides giving commands to the paddlers about half-way through the video.
