First of all; I LOVE this forum, and I will get a lot of useful info and tips for years to come! I hope to contribute my self too...in due time...
There are a lot of members here asking questions like "Has anyone tested/tried/bought/checked out this and that" in this forum. It would be nice to know if the person that answer has any form of connection to any supplier/brand.
Especially if someone claims that a product is "useless crap".
It would also be useful to know the level of experience for everyone that is asking a question, giving an advice and so on.
It seems that a lot of the members actually are physically neighbors, mates/friends and have a kind of personal relationship, or belongs to a kind of "brotherhood"..
Can't you all state in your profile/signature something like this:
Level of experience with video/film:
1) I'm a newbee / I have been an experienced amateur for xx years / I have been a semipro for xx years / I' have been a pro for xx years
2) I have no connection to the camcorder industry. / I'm a supplier of equipment to this industry on a hobby basis / I'm a supplier of equipment to this industry on a professional basis.
