hey all,

So i am working on a static GG dof adapter and i was wondering how i was gonna attach the whole thing to the hv20's lens. I was wondering if anyone knew a way of screwing the adapter on the front end of the camcorder. Or am i going to have to use a bunch of screws or ducked tape, or even just rails?

I've seen this adapter that uses PVC tubes, and the guy seems to have this screwed on his camcorder, does anyone know what he is using on the camcorder's end (kinda looks like the wd h43)?

here is the link (you've probably all seen this already... ):

Looks pretty cool. I'd be willing to give this a try if he put up a how too.

He's basically created an extension tube for his camera. In still photography, extension tubes are used alot for macrophotography. They allow very shallow DOF and close focusing. I just sold a set of tubes. For still cameras they use a particular lens mounting system so couldn't use them on an HV20. But the homemade tube is pretty smart.

Nice! Even the color matches it a bit better than the non home made ones. Haha, the song from the you tube clip, totally cracks me up with the footage!
