The problems are growing . . . I the near future the Cable-Guys will no longer offer the BBC broadcasts in Holland. UK Governement wants to protect their investments in the BBC and do no longer support free air. Another nail on the coffin of UK culture. And for us a great dissapointment as we can no longer enjoy the high quality of the BBC broadcasts. Unless we buy ourselves a dish and go digital perhaps.

My apologies gentlemen.
I didn't realise BBC links aren't worldwide.
My link was to a doc about the death Of George Melly.
I quote this from The BBC..
"George Melly's Last Stand is a deeply personal, moving, unexpectedly funny and completely frank documentary about the last months of the larger-than-life jazz singer and writer.
Diagnosed with vascular dementia and lung cancer, George is determined to keep on entertaining to the very end. Cared for by Diana, his wife of 44 years, he prepares for a new set of concerts with a finale at the 100 Club, the venue where he launched his career 60 years earlier.
Melly's career spanned jazz, art criticism and journalism, and his memoirs documented a life of habitual debauchery. Diana has also written with incredible candour about their complex, open marriage.
As his strength wanes, Diana invites all his old girlfriends, including Molly Parkin, to visit him at home to say goodbye. And in the last weeks of his life as Diana nurses him, they finally find peace and companionship together."
An object lesson in never giving up.
