Hello.
I have the oppertunety to buy a used panasonic dvx100 for 2700$. It has been used 300 hours but is generally in good shape. Is this a good buy or should I just get a hv20?
Any thoughts?

If it's a Panasonic DVX100b you want, you can get them NEW on Amazon for about $2600, or new on Ebay for under $2300.
Why not get a new one for cheaper?
As far as HV20 vs. DVX100b, I believe there's at least a couple threads discussing this on here already. Do a search and add to one of the other posts if you still have questions.

One of the best deals Iīve seen (and itīs a reputable dealer): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16830180049&Tpk=dvx
$2.700 for a used DVX is definately way too much. The question is if you want to shoot HDV or not. If you know you donīt need HDV for a long time, the DVX is an excellent camera and I really miss all the manual control it offers. Having said that, if you can spent $2.700 why don`t you look into a Canon A1? Great camera you can get for about $3.000 new or $2.500 to $2.700 used. Best of both world, IMO...
