Is it idiotic to film no motion or little motion stuff, like interviews or scenery, in 24P, and then go shoot race cars or motorcycles driving by in 1080i, for the same film? When it comes time to edit, don't I have to choose one or the other anyway, and won't that require conversion from 1080i to 24P or 24P to 1080i so that the entire film is the same? Won't doing a conversion of the 1080i action shots to 24P result in motion issues as if I had shot it in 24P to start with?
