It was a re-make of a big hit movie from Hong Kong. They made it to a trilogy too but the other 2 sucks.

The ending of the HK version was the bad guy successfully hide his identify and won. The general public complained about the ending so they have to create an alternative ending in the DVD where the bad guy got arrested.

I was talking about the ending of the Hong Kong version. The ending of the Hollywood is totally different. If you want, I can tell you the ending of the Hollywood ones. ha!

The Missus IS Chinese.My advice....take her anyways...just don't tell her...unless she frequents these boards. I have not seen the American version but i read the script....heck....the script was so good...now I wan't to go see it.
